Continued Upgrades to Desktop GP

This week our patient messaging toolbar, Desktop GP, received three key updates that will improve the workflows of GPs and save time in hundreds of General Practices across the country. MJog is now the only solution in the healthcare market that offers batch messaging, appointment reminders, and a clinician toolbar; our integrated solution helps practices work more efficiently and engage with more patients, for less.

Our customer engagement managers and researchers have been working closely with GPs to uncover what the most important features for their messaging toolbars are. We're pleased to say from the feedback we received we have now implemented the following:

  1. Messages are now coded back to the patient record by default
  2. Text from the SMS message is now added to the patient record by default
  3. GPs can now stop replies from patients for specific text messages sent

These new features follow other useful updates that have been made in the recent weeks to improve patient experience and accessibility:

  • GPs can now request for patients to send up to 5 photos of their condition for analysis
  • The Desktop GP toolbar has been made larger, whilst the messaging windows have been made more compact, to take up less screen-space
  • We added an NHS-Link browser, so clinicians can easily search for a condition and send the patient a link to the content on the NHS website

MJog continues to work with many GPs and Practice Managers through our growing Flagship Programme, designed to help larger practices improve their healthcare through innovative MJog solutions. By working alongside GPs over the coming weeks and months, Desktop GP will be ready for a wider rollout to even more clinicians across the UK.

Currently, Desktop GP is funded and available for over 600 practices across the UK. Many more practices will be eligible for Desktop GP for free over the coming months, however if you wish to try it now please get in touch with our Sales Team.
